About Us...

Over the years, we've owned various breeds ranging from Boxers to Labs and all were our beloved pets.

In 2000 the last of our pets made their journey to the Rainbow Bridge due to old age.

My husband Don, had always wanted a Newfoundland and I fell in love with the sweet disposition these Gentle Giants had.

We waited a year for our Landseer Blossom to be born and while waiting, her sire Champion Toad Halls Field of Dreams won Best of Breed two years straight at Westminster. 

Never did we give a thought to showing in conformation however watching peaked our interest.  Having shown Arabian Horses for many years we thought, "Dog Shows couldn't be that hard".  Well, over the years we've eaten those words many times!

I decided I wanted to get my own girl and in 2003 Ms ElleMae joined our home.  Elle's sire is from the Dryad line.  Elle's dam is a German Import with many champions and International champions coming from old Danish lines.  

I started showing ElleMae in 2004 and with limited showing, handled by me, as of October 2005 she is now known as, "Champion Blackwatch Ellemae of Dakota"!

We are so happy that we had great mentors along the way,  we couldn't have done this without their guidance.  

We hope they will all be there for us when we  dip our paws into tracking!
